Hurricane Alex sending oil to Gulf coast beaches

"LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Hurricane Alex, which strengthened overnight from a tropical storm, is heading for the coastline near the Texas-Mexico border and is starting to churn oil from the massive BP spill on to beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, reports said Wednesday.

Several media outlets reported that as Alex crossed the southern portion of the Gulf, it generated high waves that forced oil-skimming vessels to retreat to shore, and started to push some of the gooey substance spewing from a mile below the ocean's surface toward the coast." More>>>>
